Stress is considered by the World Health Organization as a set of physiological reactions that prepares the body for action when a threat or a demanding situation is perceived.

In this sense, the course offers the participants the vision on the physiological, biochemical, and psychosocial approach to propose tools to manage stress in a conscious way that allows us to adapt to the environment and consciously choose our responses in order to protect our health and strengthen the resilience. In this course, participants will be able to manage the basic concepts, types of stress, symptoms, and how to develop effective stress coping strategies.
